Patricia Ann North Brooks

Patricia Ann North Brooks, age 87, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on February 6, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Jerome, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John and Florence (Walker) North and wife of the late Howard Newton Brooks. She was an elementary school teacher and retired in 1998 after 30 years of teaching with Harford County Public Schools at Bakerfield Elementary School. She was a member of Harford County Retired Teachers Association and Bel Air Church of the Nazarene. Patricia enjoyed writing poetry which were referred to as "Patty Originals" and was very creative. She loved cats, Snowbabies, angels, going out to eat, shopping and shoes, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her granddaughter, Amanda (Jonathan) Herpel of Abingdon; daughter, Gail (Will) Ross of Whiteford; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Herpel, Juliana Herpel.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John Brooks and brother, Ronald North.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 12-2 & 4-6 pm and on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Bel Air Church of the Nazarene from 10-11 am with a service to follow at 11 am. Interment will take place in Harford Memorial Gardens.
