To the Citroni Family--
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Pat was the kind of person who touched lives without trying and often without even knowing the difference he made. He had such an uplifting spirit that you couldn't help but be happy when you were around him. He was genuinely unique and the world won't be the same without him. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Dear Citroni Family,

My family and I send our deepest thoughts and prayers to you. I wish with all my heart that I could be there to pay my respects, we are living overseas. Pat was an amazing person, and a dear sweet friend to me. I have memories I will hold with me for a lifetime. I enjoyed so much catching up when I had the chance to run into him over the last couple of years, an amazing boy had become an amazing man. He will be missed truly.

To the Citroni family,
My deepest condolences go to the whole family in this time of loss. Pat was the type of person not to make someone feel unwelcome, and I know everyone else who knew him has seen it first hand. His cheer and comedy will be missed and although its has been quite a while since I have had the opportunity to be in his presence he will always have history in my life. Ben and Katie I know you guys have always been close and I hope celebrating the life of Pat will make you stronger.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Citroni family. Pat's warm smile and personality, and general innocence was very infectious. You couldn't help but be brightened by his presence, regardless of how the day was going. Always upbeat, and extremely passionate about politics. I remember admitting to him one day, that I really didn't understand how all of that "political stuff" worked. He took about 25 minutes to enlighten me, and I remember making a comment about something not being fair.. Well.. if you could see the joy in his eyes that he had gotten through to me.. priceless!! He even went as far to show me that i was registered to vote, and emailed me where my polling place was =) I'll miss sitting next to him in seminars and bantering back and forth with him to make the classes more interesting.

God Bless!

To the Citroni Family,
After attending the services yesterday, I wanted to leave another entry thanking you for talking about so many fun, crazy, and memorable events that we went through at Sacred Heart and afterwards. I met up with a few of our classmates at the church and after talking, we all reminded each other of the fun we had with Pat growing up. I did not know Kate as well as I knew Pat but at Sacred Heart, Pat was one of my close friends. He got along with everyone and always left a smile on everyone's face. What his friends and family said today about him just made me smile more remembering how unique of a person he was. He was the first boy to ask me to dance at a Halloween party at my house in middle school. And growing up, middle school was sometimes hard...That didn't matter to Pat. I could've been in the worst mood or upset and he would find a way to make me laugh. I can remember him in a play in middle school learning how to dance on the stage in the gym and counting the steps out loud every time, during rehearsal and the play. He meant a lot to me and although I hadn't seen him in years, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss and to thank you for reminding me of so many different ways that Pat made an impact on every person he met. He was always there for me growing up as well and made life growing up a little easier...seeing that smile every day and with his sense of humor, he will never be forgotten, especially since not one single memory of him doesn't make me smile or laugh. I will be praying for all of you. You were his family...Thank you for helping make him the person he was.

This entry is kind of late but after seeing such a huge crowd at the services, it showed us how Pat was loved by all he ever had contact with. Once you met Pat he was a friend no matter what age you where. He had a smile that always welcomed everyone and always lite up the room. Even when he debated, he had that wonderful smile that comforted you. Being so young to touch so many hearts was such a great accomplishment.
He will be missed by all.
And knowing Rosemary, she was waiting with her arms open to give him a big hug. And right behind Rosemary was Betty waiting her turn to hug him, so he will not be alone. He will be giving them that wonderful smile and touching their hearts as he did to so many people.
We will miss you Pat!!!

I just met Patrick a few months ago but he is someone that I don't think I will ever forget. He was gifted in sharing his passions and beliefs in a way that made you want to explore your own. He had more energy then any five people combined, and always wore a smile. As his family, you certainly know how special Patrick was, but please understand that many others know too.

I am so saddened at the lose of such a dear person. I truly enjoyed Patrick's enthusiam as a student. Dear Citroni Family,
I was so very sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. He was without a doubt one of the most cheerful students I have ever taught. I have such fond memories of his wonderful, spirited performance as Toto in the Wizard of Oz. I was so impressed with how politically involved he had become. He was always thinking of others ...setting up going away parties and such.
I will keep all of you in my prayers and have no doubt that Patrick will be looking out for all of us with his usual smiling face.

May God provide you the peace you need at this time of sorrow.

I did not know Patrick all that well, having met him just a few times at various political events, but I found him to be very smart, articulate and ready with a firm handshake and broad smile. I liked him and wanted to be in his company.

I am very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Adrian, Linda and kids - Pat was our "fourth son". He has stayed part of our family since he and Dev met in first grade. His smile and beautiful soul have touched so many people. He never left friends behind, he took them along on his life adventure with him. He is loved so very much and his death is a loss for us all. Please know that you are in our prayers.

September 21, 2008

Pat's smile is the thing I have always remembered about him since our years together at Sacred Heart. With that smile and his warming heart one could walk away from initial introductions and have a new friend. I am happy he found something in life that allowed him to share this with so many. We are all better for it. Thank you, Pat

I went to Sacred Heart School with Pat and Katie. After meeting Pat for the first time, I knew he was someone who would leave a lasting impression. He was fun-loving, free-spirited and loved to make everyone laugh, even if it was at his expense. I will never forget his witty humor, his energy, the times we had growing up, passing their house on my way home every day, the spontaneous trip to Ocean City and his contagious smile. Even though we lost touch, it's amazing to read about how much he has done and how far he has gotten professionally. It sounds like he has left so many people with great memories and stories to tell.

Bonnie and I will always remember that smile, and Patrick's helpfulness. What a loss to your family and society. We will always have him in our thoughts and memory.

Whether it was his grin - that was so infectious you couldn't help but grin too - or his natural ability to engage you in a battle of verbal banter - Pat's charisma was that of no other. He could make an old VW with a bungee cord look as cool as a Porshe. And he could make any person feel just as special.
To the Citroni's - your family is beautiful and strong. I am so sorry for your loss and offer any support you may need.
Pat - you will be truly missed.

I've known Pat for almost a decade because of a mutual friend but I really became closer to him over the past two years. He was one of the most sincere people I've ever met, and was also very generous and loyal.

I will miss just talking with Pat, whether it's politics or public policy or just the everyday details of life. Especially the way he would smile so often while he argued.

I know he touched many lives and will be missed by all he knew.

My prayers to Patrick's family and close friends. Patrick as some of you know was a foot soldier for the Grand Old Party's Liberty caucus. His will to help get Gov't of his country and state of Maryland into control motivated others. The guy was in 2 places at one time and no one knows if the guy ever slept the last year. I worked part time for the last 6 months on the Matthews for congress team and Patrick and I talked in person, via e-mail and off line at least 2 days out of the week about personal items as well as politics. He loved what he was doing, he loved his family and le loved his friends. Patrick will be missed by people who did not know he was fighting for their future.-Stephen Reigle

I fiest met Patrick on a bus trip from Baltomore to a Ron Paul rally last October in Philadelphia at Indepence
Mall. I was impressed by Patrick's fervent beliefs in what has made Ameica great including our Founding Father's devotion to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness ( aka the right to own property ). Like our Founding Fathers, Ratrick was willing to say what he meant and mean what he said and put his beliefs into action! God called this amazing 29 year old home much too soon. We will greatly miss him and all that he stood and worked for. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to all of us who love America!

God Bless you Patrick in your new home in heaven.

To the Citroni family, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers. I went to Sacred Heart with Pat and Katie, even though I was a little bit older, and we spent a lot of time together back when he was in high school.
