Peter Christie Obituary

CHRISTIE , Peter G. Peter Graham CHRISTIE , 87, noted East Coast architect, photographer, yachtsman and humanitarian, died suddenly July 25, 2008 at his home in Baltimore, Md. Born Nov. 8, 1920 to Alexander Graham and Flora Ida (Brown) Christie, Mr. Christie was the beloved husband of Nancy Kidder Christie and father of Alison Graham Tucker, Jean Alden Farquhar and Gillian Turner Christie, and stepfather to Christopher Hupfeldt, Kim Hupfeldt, Julie Miller and the late William Hupfeldt. Mr. Christie is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial is scheduled Aug. 17 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at The L'Hirondelle Club at 7611 L'Hirondelle Club Rd. in Ruxton, Md. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Andrew's Society Foundation of the St. Andrew's Society of Baltimore P.O. Box 4114, Timonium, MD 21904. Arrangements by Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc.
