I started working at PMS when I was 19, new to the adult working world. I never would have guessed that Pete and PMS would have meant so much to me 16 years later. You learn a lot about a person when you work with them every day for sooo many years. He taught me so much about work but also about life. He had a saying for everything and always ready to crack a joke. He never made us feel like work was more important than family.. that just wasn´t who he was. Family was so important to Pete. His kids, grandkids, sister, and wife were the reason his world went around. He used to say we were his work daughters & that just couldn´t be more true. He was just another dad guiding us through life and teaching us his ways. We miss you, Pete. Thanks for being the best boss for all of these years.

I remember Pete from Towson high. Not sure how I met him ( and Joanne) but they always made me feel comfortable to be around them. They don´t come much nicer than Pete. I´m so sorry Joanne and family. I´m sure Pete has a special place in heaven.

My deepest sympathies to Joanne and to the rest of Pete´s family and close friends. My tribute to Pete is that I knew him when we both worked at McCormick in the early `80s and, despite the years that have passed, I still remember him as a young, tall, personable and memorable young professional who was fun to be with and to be around. I have not seen him in over 40 years but I remember him well, can still see him clearly in my mind´s eye and remember him as one of the "really good guys." May he rest in peace and may his family find peace in memories of him. Tony Montcalmo

Pete and I graduated Loyola College class '72. We had countless times together during school and afterwards. Instead of listing all our get-togethers, the best from the 70's was when we went to Italy and spent time with Uncle Guido and Uncle Vincenzo my father's brothers. No need to repeat all his qualities which have already been mentioned. Mi dispiace molto your old friend Lorenzo.

Our deepest sympathies to Joanne and Pete's family. I was a THS Class of 68 friend and we loved seeing Pete and Joanne at the reunions over the years.
Prior to the reunions, my wife Nancy would always say, "I hope Pete is there" and he always was and we had such great conversations. Such a solid good guy who loved his family, Pete, you will be missed by everyone who knew you.

I can still hear Pete on my cell"hey Mare, its Pete.....I have a medical question to run by you".As my brother Ron and Doug'sdear friend since Towson High ,he became mine as well.Pete adored his Wife Joanne, children ,grandkids, "the ladies" at work, his Sister and the devoted loving memories of his parents and wonderful dog. God had a special seat ready for Pete with a front seat to a perfect Ravens and Oriole season. Thanks Joanne for keeping me in the loop. The Dorsey family was privledged to have known the friendship of your Pete. -Marye Dorsey Kellermann

I offer my sincere condolences to Joanne, his sons, and the rest of his family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Pete at McCormick & Company in the early 1980's. Pete was the Corporate Accounting Manager and I was one of his Corporate Accountants. Pete was a such a knowledgeable, kind, fair and supportive person that to this day I still treasure my time working with him. I am now retired and as I look back over my career, Pete stands out as one the best managers I have ever had the pleasure of working for. May he rest in peace.

Countless irreplaceable memories/rewards with Petey after 60 years of friendship! Witnessing first-hand his ethical mindset that was instilled by his dad, Mr. Pete, from his WW 2 produce business @BelAir market(inner city). Reliability, timeliness, commitment were Pete's mainstay. Eternal heavenly comfort and Peace Petey! Supportive prayers and condolences to Joanne/family and sister Pat.

I met Pete at TPC and then years later I worked with him. During football season, every Monday morning we would sit in his office and talk Ravens football game and who did what wrong! He loved his family and he loved that one week in August that they went to the beach! He loved to take and share pictures with everyone of his family! RIP Pete!

I met Pete and his family while he was at Levindale. He always waved hello to me and it was always nice to see him. I probably only knew him for about one month but I feel honored to have known him. Every time I watch a game show, I will think of him (he was always watching game shows). Rest in Peace Pete. Prayers to the family.
