Friends may call at Slack Funeral Home, P.A., 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043 on Wednesday January 29, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2001 Old Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Blomster's name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the above address.

Rest In Peace Ralph. Our girls played together on Hillside Rd in their younger years. My sympathy to all the Blomster. family. The Callens family.

My sympathy goes out to the entire Blomster family. When I was a younger man, as a friend of Erik's, I had several occasions to talk with Mr. Blomster at get togethers. He was extremely proud of his Viking heritage, and of his children. And he had some of the best advice that I had heard for his children and others like me as we waded our way into adulthood. He will truly be missed.
