Ralph Spice Obituary

Ralph Spice, aged 77, died in his home in Jarrettsville, MD, on January 27, 2021. He had a brief battle with strokes before peacefully passing away while surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is survived by 2 sisters, Joanne and Susan, his 4 children, Ella, Loren, Ben and Adam, their spouses, Andrew, Anna, Nichole, and Amanda, and his 3 grandchildren, Ross, Luke, and Ivy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Petronela, and his devoted wife Martha, to whom he was married in 1975.

Ralph was working full time until his first stroke. At that time he had held the title of Senior Technical Support at SK Global, where he had enjoyed a career journey that took root in 1994, when he helped design and support a new module. He quickly went from being an independent contractor to being the company's 3rd employee, following the 2 co-founders. He was beloved by his employers and customers alike.

Ralph enjoyed working in his yard, reading, traveling, collecting elephants, puzzles, woodworking, fireworks, and above all, being with his family. He dedicated his life to providing for, guiding, mentoring, and fiercely loving them.

Due to the pandemic, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held once gatherings are safe; to commemorate his fantastic Independence Day celebrations, this is tentatively planned for the 4th of July, 2021.
