Richard Heier Obituary
Rick was a beloved teacher and coach at Fallston High School for 35 years. His quotable remarks, his compassion for others, and his knack for telling stories made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He truly cared about his family, friends, and students and was always there to provide support and encouragement. His passions included sports, photography, and traveling, among others.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, 10 Lexington Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rick's name to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090, or www.alz.org, or The Humane Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047, or www.harfordshelter.org. Condolences may be left for the family at www.schimunek-belair.com
