Rick was a dear friend. We spent many wonderful evenings together when we attended NATO meetings. I loved his many practical jokes even though I was the blunt of many. He will be dearly missed. My condolences to his family

Sincere condolences to you, Dusty, and your family. I was so saddened to hear of Rick's passing. He will be sorely missed. I remember so well, when he was appointed as Commissioner and then designated Chairman of the FMC and how wonderful it was to work for him and be considered a part of his team. He was one of the kindest, most qualified leaders the Commission has ever seen and I was humbled to know he considered me a friend. This picture was taken on September 23, 2014 at a gathering to celebrate his birthday (Sept. 21st) with dear friends, Margherita, Mike, MaryEllen, Newt, Ron and me.

I hope your happy, loving memories will sustain you and help to lift you up from your sorrow. Rest in peace, Rick. You were an amazing man and I count myself lucky, to have known you.

The deepest sympathies of the Calvert Hall Community to the Lidinsky family. Mr. Lidinsky was a most loyal alumnus. He donated his extensive John F Kennedy library and memorabilia collection to our student library. For many years, he sponsored a Profiles in Courage essay contest for our students. He took time to visit The Hall and meet with contest participants.
