Born Rita Iwancio, on October 15, 1953 in Baltimore City, she worked for the Social Security Administration for over 40 years; retiring in 2011.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5-7pm at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:30am.
The family encourages everyone wear the color purple at Thursday's service to celebrate the life of Rita.
