Robert Cummings Obituary

Robert E. Cummings, 77, of White Hall, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Born in Sparks, MD, he was the son of the late Wilmer Earl and Margaret Sarah (Blouse) Cummings. He was the loving husband to Betty (Kelley) Cummings.

Robert was the plant manager at Black & Decker for 38 years before his retirement. He was an alumnus of Hereford High School and was in the athletic hall of fame for basketball. A family man, Robert loved his wife, kids, and grandkids. He was an avid golfer.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by 2 daughters, Kelley Jo Ryan, and her husband William, and Brooke S. Whittle; 6 grandchildren, Andrew W. Ryan, Matthew J. Ryan, Benjamin T. Ryan, Keegan R. Whittle, Kelby G. Whittle, and Peyton D. Whittle; and 2 siblings, Kenneth Cummings, and Linda Trout. He is preceded in death by 4 of his siblings, John Cummings, Warren Cummings, Betty Hackler, and Patricia Hammond.
