I met him only once at the 2003 Governor's Gala.
He was an impressive gentleman.
He liked my hat and was insistent on taking a picture with me.
He made me feel special.

Mrs. Pierpont, Christine, and family -
The Lamasa family extends our sympathy on your loss. We were neighbors of yours over 50 years ago when you lived On Norman and Mayfield Avenues. We lived on Crossland Avenue.
Christine, we used to play together at each others homes. We have lost contact over the years but we have always kept abreast of Dr. Pierpont by news articles in newspapers.
Please know that our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I have known Ross since 1984 when I as a 16 year old worked on his campaign for congress. Later I served as campaign manager for his 1998 and 2000 campaigns for The U S Senate. Ross treated me like family. I was proud to have worked for him. A man of humor, integrity, compassion and powerfull intellect. The world is a better place because of Him. I will miss him greatly. Grace you have my love as does Ross. Thank you for letting me into your lives.

Aunt Grace, Christine, Lippold and family, We were so sorry to hear about the death of Uncle Ross. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Since Mom and Dad are in South Carolina for work they are un-able to attend the service. He will certainly be missed by us all. If there is anything we can do to help you, please don't forget to ask! Love to you and your family!

Grace and family,
Dolly Traband will miss Ross. She never forgets the times shared with Millard and Ross and you. Martha Ellen, Sara, Tolson, Emily, and Alan extend sympathy. He was a great man. In medicine, music, sports and politics, he deeply cared. Michael Olesker describes him
nicely in today's Baltimore Sun.

Dr. Ed Pierpont was our family doctor and I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Ross, Ed's brother, and his beautiful wife Grace several times. He was a classy gentleman and a fine doctor. He will be missed by everyone that knew him and loved him. My deepest sympathy to the family. Ron Stitely

This wonderful man saved my life in 1965 when I had a flu that was filling all the hospitals in our Maryland suburban area. I was dying and my husband called Dr. Pierpont, who came TO OUR HOME in the middle of the night and gave me shots and care. I have never forgotten him and I know that he is in Heaven. I am now 70.
