On March 14, 2014, Russell A. Keefer passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret A. Keefer (nee Klein) and Clara Keefer (nee Hufnagel); devoted father of Joseph A. Keefer and his wife Lauralynn, Mary H. Louden and her husband Jerry, as well as 3 step children; dear brother of 10 brothers and sisters; loving grandfather of Brooks Louden, Maria Louden and Nicole Keller, as well as 2 step grandchildren; cherished great grandfather of Joshua Keller and Willow and Dakota Smiley; devoted friend of Ginny Milchling, as well as her children and grandchildren. Also survived by many loving extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the Living Water Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. On behalf of my mom (Aunt Margaret), myself and my brothers I am sending these heartfelt sympathies. We are all saddened by your loss. It's been many years since we have seen or spoken to each other, probably since our school years. I know Mom especially would have liked to have been there and is sorry she couldn't make it.

Ginny -
Words can never express our gratitude to Russell and you for all you did for us. Frank never forgot the many trips to doctors - Russell was always there to help when needed. Then there were the good times - many happy memories. Russell's coffee mug is still on my windowsill. He was a good person and deserves eternal rest.
Sorry I can't be there, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
