Sally A. Moen

1943 - 2022

Sally Anne Moen, age 78, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.

She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1943, the daughter of the late John D. and Mary Phillips of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Sally was a graduate of Penn State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Education.

Sally spent most of her career working in the Baltimore County Circuit Court as a Custody Investigator. She was an active member of Bel Air United Methodist Church. She loved being involved in her church, book clubs, and spending time with her friends.

Sally loved being with her family. She was an avid Penn Stater and enjoyed spending time in State College with her family attending football events and other activities. Sally was a fun, loving woman who will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Phillips. Surviving is her high school sweetheart and husband of 56 years, Richard Hanson Moen, Jr., children; Lisa Jeanne Anders and husband Randy, Colora, Maryland; Lesley Anne Corey, Harveys Lake, Pennsylvania; Laurie Lynne Hudson and husband Mark, Port Deposit, Maryland; and Richard Brian Moen and wife Katie, Bel Air, Maryland; grandchildren; Benjamin Mack and Jenna Lynne Anders; Jacob John, Zachary Michael and Hailey Rose Corey; Ethan Thomas and Brandon Michael Hudson; Faith Alissa and Brian Richard Moen.

Sally was a strong beautiful lady who will forever be missed.
