Shannon Gentry Obituary

GENTRY , Shannon D. On August 17, 2011, Shannon Daniellle Gentry , an 11 year officer of the Baltimore County Police Department, passed away. She was the loving daughter of Ronald and Linda Gentry; beloved fiancé of Jeremy Gryctz; caring sister of Brandon Gentry; cousin of Brook and Brian DiVenanzio. Also survived by many other family members and friends including her devoted German Shepherd Apache whom also served with the Baltimore County Police Department.
Shannon's life will be honored on Tuesday, August 23, at the family owned and operated Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rts 23 & 24, Forest Hill) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9. A funeral service will be held on the following day at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1100 Philadelphia Rd., in Joppa, beginning at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Officer Gentry's name to either: Sunshine Kids Foundation National Office, 2814 Virginia St., Houston, TX 77098 or Humane Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Rd., Fallston, MD 21047.
