Eugene Logue Obituary

Eugene Logue, 81, of Kinmundy died at 9:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy, with the Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery, Alma, with military rites at graveside by Kinmundy American Legion. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Mr. Logue was born March 14, 1928, in Patoka, the son of Edward and Nellie (Goodin) Logue. He was a retired carpenter and attended Marshall Creek Baptist Church, Odin. Mr. Logue was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Yvonda Logue of Kinmundy; sons, Larry and Steven Logue of Alma, Matt Logue of Maryland and Sherrod Logue of Alma; daughters, Caren (Damon) Sullens of Salem, and Paula Logue and Kelly Yazdani, both of Maryland; brother, Gearl Logue of Peoria; sisters, Rita Williams of Salem, Patty Sullivan of Alma and Wanda Kerley of Marquette Heights; stepsons, Richie (Kathy) Garrett and David Garrett, both of Maryland; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and his previous wife, Ann Logue of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Gary "Butch" Logue; sister, Mareia Logue; and previous wife, Mary Ann Logue.
