Shirley Chmilewski Obituary
Shirley Carolyn (Kreh) Chmilewski, 88, of Murrells Inlet, SC and formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed peacefully August 21, 2016. She was born October 16, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Louise Caroline (Becker) Kreh. Shirley was a deeply religious lady with a strong belief in the power of prayer. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael (Cheryl) Chmilewski of SC; grandchildren, Jason (Tanya) Chmilewski of PA, Christina (Matthew) Billingslea of TN and Matthew Chmilewski of SC; and four great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the Chapel of Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore. Burroughs Funeral Home of Murrells Inlet, SC is assisting the family.

Hi Michael ... My cousin Dave texted tonight to inform me of your mother's passing & I wanted to send my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. My mom also passed in January of this year. When I got the news from Dave, I immediately thought back to all the great times in the neighborhood when we were growing up and all of our parents looking out for the bunch of us. Your mom was a good friend & neighbor to my mom in the years before she moved. I know you have many memories to comfort you at this difficult time.
