Shirley Milburn Obituary

Shirley Kathryn Milburn [nee Holmes] died on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 90 in her home. She was born in Savage, Maryland on May 1, 1930 to the late Wendell and Myral Holmes.

She was preceded by her husband, John, and brother, Larry Holmes.

She is survived by: Her daughter, Beverly Tharpe; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Douglas Mullis; son and daughter-in-law, Simon and Michelle Dean; son and daughter-in-law, Corbin and Dawn Dean; daughter and son-in-law, Diane Dean and John Giglio; eight grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah Mullis, Thomas and granddaughter-in-law Kelsey Dean, Anthony and granddaughter-in-law Emily Dean, Samantha Dean, Molly Dean, Katherine and Andrew Giglio; five great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Virginia Holmes; and one niece Jennifer Holmes.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 3 at 11 AM at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue. Visiting on Friday, April 2 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
