I had the pleasure of meeting Steve when I visited him and his wife, my dear friend, Sherry, several years ago. He was such a kind man with a gentle spirit and I was blessed to have met him. He and Sherry were the perfect couple and it was a joy to spend time with them! My prayers are with you and the family, Sherry. I love you.....

I was so fortunate to know Steve through our work at T. Rowe Price and continuing the relationship after his retirement. He was a role model for many people, including myself, who admired his outstanding character, modesty, high standards, and concern for others in addition to being an excellent investment manager for many years in a very challenging profession. I am grateful that we were able to attend several Orioles spring training games in Sarasota together, especially with his front row box seats. We will sorely miss his good humor and company.

I enjoyed working with Steve at T. Rowe Price. He was a gentle soul but he also had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
