On February 8, 2016, Stephen H. Schapiro; beloved husband of Lois Schapiro (nee Price); devoted father of Marni (Todd) Hyatt and Dr. Melinda (Dr. Aaron) Weinstein; dear brother of the late Edwin Schapiro; loving grandfather of Rachel and Brett Weinstein, Alixandra and Tess Hyatt. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Wednesday, February 10, at 11 am. Interment Beth El Memorial Park - Randallstown. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. In mourning at 2813 Baublitz Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, Wednesday and Thursday.

Although it's been quite a while since I last visited with Steve (RPMA, 1993), there were few people so well thought of and deeply respected in the packaging business, and likely, outside the working world.
He was our anchor in the NE for the North American Packaging Group, putting in countless hours on the road and in front of the region's top players. We are forever grateful for all he did on our behalf.
We send our thoughts and prayers to Steve's family knowing they will reflect back on a fulfilling life lived through many, many friends and acquaintances. A legacy richly deserved.

It's been years since I last saw Steve and I'll always remember when seeing him I got a great smile and a warm hello.. He's what you would call a gentleman. My deepest sympathy to his family and it breaks my heart to know he passed.
