Stephen Shiflett

Stephen Robert Shiflett, 64, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 18, 1953 in Baltimore, MD to the late Alvin and Dolores Shiflett. Mr. Shiflett was a longstanding member of the Eastfield Alley Boys. Above all he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will truly be missed. He is survived by his wife, Therese Shiflett; his children, Stephanie Shiflett and her husband, Franco DiBari of Clarksburg, MD, Courtney Hatzinikolas and her husband, Vasilios of York, PA, Amanda Shiflett of Clarksburg, MD, Heather Nickz and her husband, Alan of San Diego, CA and Trevor Dentz and his wife, Sumithra of Cockeysville, MD; his siblings, Spencer Shiflett, Deborah Polinsky and Melissa Harrington; and his grandchildren, Angelo DiBari, Gabriel DiBari, Anastasia Hatzinikolas, Isabella DiBari, Angelina Hatzinikolas and Levi Nickz. The procession to Prize Hill Church will depart Ryan Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at Prize Hill Church with Father James Bruse officiating. Interment will follow in Prize Hill Cemetery.
