My Aunt Sue was a one of a kind. She was a great hostess when we visited, served excellent food, and planned a terrific several day reunion in Baltimore for the family. As a youngster, I remember she and Uncle Don exercising ( what a concept) at the lake cottage and just being fun and loving people.
She is the last of her generation having married my dads younger brother (15 years younger). Her love for us and our two sons was huge and we will miss her.

Susan (aka Ducky) was a great friend of both my husband Bob and I for many years. Bob left us 2016 and I'm sure they are whooping it up with a glass of wine and great big booming laughter.

Susan had an infectious laugh, a gloriously rich heart and dancing eyes. A treasure of a human being and a treasured friend. We send our deepest condolences.

My mother Ruth Cohen, and I had the pleasure of being neighbors of Don and Sue at Silverbrook Wood. This led to a wonderful friendship. Many afternoons Sue and my mom shared stories. I had the pleasure of hearing about places visited and stories about Broadway experiences. It was my job to make sure the beautiful Imogene Coca plant stayed healthy in our hallway! We enjoyed getting to know your family and were excited to share in the accomplishments of Mark, Kimberley, Jeffrey,Kari-Ann and the grandchildren. People like Sue and Don came from a generation of people who understood hardship and the importance of sharing and caring. I know they impacted people in a positive way and that is a wonderful legacy. I will miss Sue's laugh, her fascinating stories and her sincere interest in what was happening in my life. She and Don were so gracious with their time when my mom needed extra help during the day. May each ff their lives be a blessed memory to your family. I know when I think of Don and Sue it will be with a smile. I am thankful that they became a part of my life. May you each find comfort in your beautiful memories and by the memories shared by others.
