I was introduced to Vernon through my dad many years ago. I'll always remember the many great years of crab feasts and picnics in the backyard. He always had a smile on his face and was so much fun to be around. A dear friend of my parents, he always treated us like family. I'll miss this kind man. My deepest condolences to the family.

Vernon was my boss at Baltimore County for about a year. He was a wonderful person to work with and I always said that if you looked up gentlemen in the dictionary, his picture would be there. May all the wonderful memories that you have shared get you all through this most difficult time. Heaven has gained another angel.
