Virginia Ishak Obituary

Virginia Louise Ishak, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on November 20, 2023. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Ishak was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Joseph Douglas Boyle and Mildred Hassel Boyle. She was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Maher W. Ishak, loving mother of Andrew W. Ishak (Robin), Paul W. Ishak (April), and Robert J. Ishak (Suzanne). She was the grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of one great-grandchild and sister of Faye Lotze and Eileen Kingston. Mrs. Ishak was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her husband on their Eastern Shore property, boating, fishing and crabbing. Mrs. Ishak was an avid gardener. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 5-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10 AM, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Father Francis Ouma will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Patrick's Catholic Church stained glass window restoration fund.
