Wes Steinfeldt Obituary
On July 7, Wes, 60, died in his home. He was the husband of Cathy Morcomb, also survived by daughters Dakota and Hollis Steinfeldt. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 18 from 1-4 PM with a service immediately following from 4-5 PM at Kenworthy Funeral Home in Hanover, PA. Wes, it is still so hard to believe that you are not with us anymore! We shared so many laughs over the 25+ years that you cut my hair. I still laugh to myself thinking about some of those times. You were definitely one of a kind and I truly miss you. Thanks for being such a great friend.

Wes has been cutting my hair since I was 7 or 8 years old. He's been much more than a barber to me. Much closer to a father figure when I was young and a good friend as I'm nearing 40. I am crushed just hearing this now. Wes, you will be missed and never forgotten.

I met Wes in 1975
We were born five days apart
He was a drummer and musician before he became a barber
We formed a band together
We were very close friends and spoke every morning
He was a very talented drummer musician and photographer
I miss him greatly

Just now hearing this horrible news. Wes cut my husbands hair for years when we lived in Reisterstown and then continued to do so after we moved here to Hanover. He had an amazing heart and endless stories about "his" girls. We are so sorry to all involved.

We just now heard this horrible news. Wes cut my husbands hair for years and years. We would hear stories of the girls so much that we feel they grew up in front of us. So very sorry...our heartfelt condolences go out to Cathy, Dakota and Hollis as well as all the other family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Wes starting cutting my hair in 1979. I last saw him in February. He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He talked about them all the time. He will truly be missed.

Wesley cut my hair for 16 years. He always made me laugh, and we always talked about gardening, and of course,his family, whom he adored.

Wes cut my husband, Chris Fox's, hair for as long as I've known him. He gave my son James' his first hair cut.
