William Lipsky Obituary

William Max Lipsky, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 64 years, Eileen Lipsky (nee Schuster); loving sons, Larry (Barbara) Lipsky, and Richard Lipsky (Elizabeth Andrews); caring brother, Robert (Beverly) Lipsky; and adoring grandchildren, Sam (Allison) Lipsky, Jack Lipsky, and Madison Lipsky. He was predeceased by his devoted parents, Jack and Jennie Lipsky; and his loving in-laws, Nathan and Sally Schuster.

William Max Lipsky was a devoted family man and proud Baltimorean who always put his loved ones first, especially his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. Born and raised in Baltimore, he spent his life building a warm, happy home for his family in the city he loved. As a hardworking father, grandfather, and husband, he took great pride in providing for his family and creating lasting memories with them. He loved spending his free time by the water fishing, on the golf course, or challenging himself with duckpin bowling-activities that brought him joy and connected him to the many traditions of Baltimore. Whether cheering for his favorite local teams or enjoying a Sunday afternoon in one of Baltimore's iconic neighborhoods, he remained deeply connected to his roots. His love for his family and for Baltimore was evident in everything he did, and his grandchildren always came first in his heart, even ahead of his own sons. He will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, Maryland 21208, on Friday, December 20th, 2024, at 1 pm. Interment Beth Tfiloh Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Dear family,
I was very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a fun guy, and have some fond memories with him and Eileen. I remember whenever they would come over our house for a visit, he would pick me up and walk around with me on his shoulders.
One year the Schuster cousins went for a weekend together involving a murder mystery. So much fun we had, and Bill played a sly attorney named
Snidly Snakely! So funny.

Phil and I express our condolences and our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.
May Bill's name always be for a blessing!
Love, Joy and Phil
