This is so hard, my birthday was right after Christmas and I couldn't handle anyone singing Happy Birthday, no one sang quite like him, so loud and off key on purpose that he would scare small children. Will will be missed so much by so many people whose lives he had touched. He was such a kind sole and so full of life. I can only find comfort in knowing that he is with Daddy and they are on some great fishing trip. He kept saying that everything will be alright after he died but they arent, the void he left is huge. I know in time the pain we are all feeling will decrease but for now my heart is broken. The grief we are all experiencing is so deep. When I told Will that I wished it was me who was sick he said that he wasnt. Will battled this disease with such courage and was so brave. His birthday is coming up and it's going be so hard for all of us. I know that he knew how much we all loved him . I love you Will and will miss you every day.

Dearest Maureen, I am sincerely sorry for you and your family. I fondly remember Will being a trooper by attending relay for life events over the years, and him liking to be a part of what is important to you. Love to you

Maureen, Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure I knew Will had passed. Will was one of those guys you enjoyed being around. I will miss our bantering during the work day. He was a person you could depend on and who was very knowledgeable about the work. All the men onsite enjoyed his presence. He would talk quite often about his family. He spoke of each of his children and their lives and his pride of them. He would also talk about his grand children and Mia. He spoke of your family vacations and how much he enjoyed the whole family being together. I honestly cannot count the many times I heard him say "I love my beautiful wife". William is the kind of person that never actually leaves because he continues to live in the hearts and memories of the people that knew him.
