Brenda Moats Obituary
Brenda Joyce Hammons Moats, born August 11, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan died from cancer on October 23, 2015 in Eagle, Idaho. Parents: Lanny Benjamin (Reba Elsie Evelyn Wilson) Hammons born in Overton Co., TN. Brenda resided in Henderson, NV prior to Idaho. Surviving: mother, Reba Hammons; sons Troy (Melissa Kripelz) Moats of Henderson, NV and Todd (Danielle Shook) Moats of Eagle, ID; grandchildren, Taylor and Trenton Moats of Las Vegas, NV, Jessica Scales of CA, and Abby Moats of Tampa, FL; sister, Sharon (Bill) Williams of Battle Creek, ex-husband Don Moats. Preceded in death: brother, Larry W. Hammons; father, Lanny Hammons; grandparents, William Ervin (Ruth Marshall Bilbrey McCulley) Hammons and Willis Roscoe (Margaret Ellen Spurling) Wilson. Our Mom was extremely generous and kind. We feel the stars sparkle brighter now that she is in Heaven. Bowman Funeral Home, Eagle, ID for cremation.
