David - I am sad to think you got way without the chance to say goodbye. I have posted many coments from your friends and alumni of Harper Creek and Post Cereals to remember you to brin a smile long after you left us. Longing for your smile. You have touched so many in so many in som many ways. I am so proud to have been a friend to you and you to me. We laughed and cried together and when ever I look at the picture of you and your boys and I see the tears in your eyes and emothion on your and their faces I tear up. Men do not tell each other that they love each other but your case is different. I loved to be around you, I laughed with and at you. I love you Dave and sad you didn't get more years with your immediate family as you truly are one in a million.

"Oh, look! It's the Chipmunk! I love the Chipmunk!" Such a great guy with the biggest heart (and a bigger sense of humor!)! We speak of those that have made a difference in our lives.....Dave has helped me be who I am today! I'm so grateful that God saw to it that we became friends......and I look forward to the next time that we meet......Nothing but love and respect from here.....Simon (aka Mark)

I always enjoyed Dave's smile and sense of humor. Some of my most memorable adventures involved Dave....walking a horse sulky from Climax to Mendon, hiking into Battle Creek with his goat, and the infamous parasail incident off the island.

God Bless You

Peace be with you Dave,
One of the things I really liked about you. You did what you wanted and how you wanted, so I respect the way you chose to fight the fight you were given. So unfair. You will be missed Dave. Big time.
