Larry Mack Hammock, 71,  passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Larry was born April 27, 1943, in Livingston, Tennessee, the son of Mack Alfred and Gladys Odell (Sells) Hammock. Mack, as he was called by many, was a painting contractor all his life. He was previously employed by Burdette Painting and H and H Painting. He also assisted his friend, Bob Angel, maintain his properties. Mack was last employed by Schweitzer, Inc and retired due to disability. He was a member of the Painters and Allied Trades International Union. Mack loved to sing Karaoke and enjoyed bluegrass music and festivals. Mack enjoyed cars, especially luxury and classic cars. "Grandpa Hoss" as his grandchildren called him, loved animals and was always happy to take in strays when he came across them. He always enjoyed gatherings with his friends, especially days spent on Little Clear Lake. Mack married Robin Clark on August 23, 1978. She preceded her husband on April 27, 2013.

Larry is survived by his daughter Lisa (Steve) Seamans of Delton and his son Larry Hiatt of Battle Creek. He also leaves his grandchildren Lacy Seamans and Steven Seamans II and Rachel and Derrick Hiatt and great granddaughter Elizabeth Hiatt, as well as several step grandchildren. Larry is also survived by his stepchildren Greg, Carrie, and David Clark all of Battle Creek and his sister Lavere (Bill) Bilbrey of Tennessee. Mack was preceded by his parents and his sister Sadie Hammock.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Royal Funeral Home followed by funeral services beginning at 11:00am.

Will miss you Larry, He was only 7 years old when I joined the Sells Family, Now I guess I am the only Aunt he had left. We have lost so many but he will join many family members now. R.I.P.and may god be with all of his family in their sorrow.
