Laura Jansen was an amazing woman. I was blessed to have her in my Sunday School Class and learned more from her than, I believe, she learned from me. I am sure God is enjoying her company. I was out of town when she went home to be with the Lord, and was sorry to miss her funeral. I feel fortunate to have known her.

She was my Dad's aunt. I believe I met her once when I was small on a trip out east, along with her two living sisters. My Dad (Charles Miles) passed in 2001 and always talked kindly of his Mom's (Charlotte)sisters.

Laura Jansen used to be my neihbor across the road. The best neighbor a family could have. She was always inviting the kids over. They would bake cookies and always come home with something like a new hat that Laura had made for them. She never even got angry when our dobermans would help themselves to their fruit stand. She was a very interesting person that I enjoyed very much.Laura Jansen will be sincerily missed. Aunt Laura will be remembered and missed by her neices and nephews. I especially appreciate the way she was always willing to lend support to her brothers and their wives. She enjoyed the closeness that they all shared. Karen Bailey Scarbrough
