I had the privilege of caring for Max during his his stay at the bone marrow transplant unit at the U of M. During that time I caught a glimpse of what a remarkable man he was. He always had a kind word and a smile. And obviously a unique sense of humor - he and his physician assistant pretended they were the Soprano's during his transplant. He shared sweet stories about the members of his family; it was very obvious that he loved you so. I am truly sorry for your loss. Max and those who will surely miss him are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Max,

As I read the messages about your relationships with your family, friends, and co-workers, I can see the fine man you became. I regret our lives didn't connect more, but I do treasure memories from Horton Bay, rolling down the hill on Garrison Rd on your Flexie, and philosophical discussions with you. Your sense of humor is legendary in our family, and I hope you can send memories of good times to all the family and friends who grieve for you now.
I'm glad you're at peace,
Love,
Mary Ruth

Max,
You will be greatly missed. I'm sad that I did not get to see you more over the past several years. Life gets busy and stands in the way sometime...but time will never erase my memories of you. When I heard you were sick, I really thought you would beat it. I still can't believe it took you so fast. I've prayed for you and I will continue to pray for your family. I'll see you when I get there. Love, your cousin John

Max was more than a business associate, he was a friend. He had life in the right perspective and help others find their perspective.
A true professional; with ethics and standards that is exhibited by great people.
As a tenacious salesperson, Max would refer to me at times as "mad dog" and that would always lessen my intensity.
I'll miss the lunch times, I'll miss is advice, I'll miss my friend.
Deepest condolences Nilda - God Bless Always
