Max and Nilda on January 2008

Nilda,

It took us by surprise and we know how hard must be for you as he was the light of your eyes. We are all thinking of you. You will be in our prayers.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." eef

Nilda,
Our prayers are with you in this difficult time. We loved the little time we shared together. We will always remember the proposal, letters and poems that he wrote you.

“The angels are always near to those who are grieving,
to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.”

Dear Aunt Dody & Lin,
My deepest sympathies to you at this time of your great loss. Max was a wonderful man and I will treasure the memories I have of him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We were so saddened to hear of Max's passing. We remember how much he loved his family and how proud he was of Jennifer, Meredith, and Nick. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I had the privilege of caring for Max during his his stay at the bone marrow transplant unit at the U of M. During that time I caught a glimpse of what a remarkable man he was. He always had a kind word and a smile. And obviously a unique sense of humor - he and his physician assistant pretended they were the Soprano's during his transplant. He shared sweet stories about the members of his family; it was very obvious that he loved you so. I am truly sorry for your loss. Max and those who will...

Dear Max,

As I read the messages about your relationships with your family, friends, and co-workers, I can see the fine man you became. I regret our lives didn't connect more, but I do treasure memories from Horton Bay, rolling down the hill on Garrison Rd on your Flexie, and philosophical discussions with you. Your sense of humor is legendary in our family, and I hope you can send memories of good times to all the family and friends who grieve for you now.
I'm glad you're at...

Dear Nilda,
My prayers are for you and your family at this time. My thoughts will be with you.
