Norma Allensworth Obituary

Norma L. Allensworth Bellevue Norma Lee (Reppert) Allensworth, 82, of Bellevue, died March 21, 2013. She was born January 12, 1931, the daughter of Harley and Gussie (Starkey) Barnard in Norman, Oklahoma. Norma is survived by her sisters, Betty Barnard of Norman, Oklahoma, Wenona (Graham) Bennett of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dorothy Amrein of Norman, Oklahoma, Bobby (Al) Musgrave of Purcell, Oklahoma, Juanitta (Bob) Goins of Norman, Oklahoma; brothers, Joe Barnard of Moor, Oklahoma, Ted (Ruth) Barnard of Norman, Oklahoma; sons, Bob (Laura) Reppert of Battle Creek, Craig (Lori) Reppert of Cedar Springs, Michigan; daughter, Marsha (Ron) Byers of Bellevue; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harley and mother, Gussie of Norman, Oklahoma; husbands, Robert W. Reppert and James Allensworth; her sisters, Mary Louise Barnard of Norman, Oklahoma and Irene Riggins of Ceress, Califonia; brother-in-law Earl Amrein of Norman, Oklahoma; and sister-in-law Genevie Barnard of Moor, Oklahoma. Norma worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Battle Creek Ford. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, reading, traveling, visiting family and friends. Norma was caring, helpful a good friend. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue. Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Carolyn Robinson Fisher officiating. Memorial donations may go to Good Samaritan Hospice Care. May God and his angels sing in Harmony when you reach the Golden Gates of Heaven. I only knew you from aunt Lila and worked with you for a Short time. I remember fixing you and aunt Lila a quick lunch so you n her could watch the noon soaps on Wiltshire St. May you rest in peace. You were an awesome person...living..laughing ...loving...caring person Norma...


I remember all of us at BsttleCreek Ford going to Shranks Cafateria. I also remember WALKING THE PICKET LINE W SIGNS WHEN B C FORD N UR UNION WERE ON STRIKE.
