Richard Ingle Obituary
Roscoe, IL., formerly of Battle Creek - Richard "Dick" Ingle, age 83, of Roscoe, IL., and formerly of Battle Creek, passed away on September 23, 2018 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born on August 19, 1935 in Battle Creek, the son of Lawrence and Mary (Reynolds) Ingle. Richard graduated from Lakeview High School in 1953. Richard worked for over twenty-five years as a meat cutter for the National Tea Company, then with great pride and success he opened and operated Meyer's Food Center in Marshall. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, especially hockey. Richard also enjoyed having coffee and hot dogs at Mister Don's with his buddies, and spending time with his neighbors at Fine Lake. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; Mary (Reynolds) and Lawrence Ingle, wife; Lois (Wallace) Ingle, and brothers; Lawrence and Gerald Ingle. Survived are his children; Beth Ann Ingle of Roscoe, IL., Brett (Lisa) Ingle of Denver, CO., brother; Don (Sonnie) Ingle of Battle Creek, and grandchildren; Aria, Broxton and Graham Ingle. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, with interment to follow at Memorial park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Evangelical Church. Condolences may be left with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org

God, Thank you for this special man,
Mr. Ingle was a very import part of my life,growing up with his 2 kids I was around their house quite a bit. I looked up to him in so many ways, he was a great role model of what a father should look like, he also taught us kids a lot of life lessons on many occasions. He loved all of us neighbor kids as he did his own. He made growing up around that neighborhood something very special that I will never forget! He was a very happy fun loving Gentleman, the world needs more people like this special man, He will be greatly missed by all. I hope to see him again someday.
