Rudolph Menchl Obituary

Rudolph Edward Menchl Rudolph Edward Menchl, 92, formerly of Battle Creek and The 42nd Mayor of Manitowoc, WI, passed away on April 12, 2010. A Purple Heart recipient from WWII, who as a navigator was shot down over Italy and in life received many citations for his service to the government. He is survived by his wife of 62 years and his 6 children who all loved him very much. The celebration will be Sept 18th 2010 in Battle Creek.

Henry: Sorry to hear about Rudys passing.He and Erica were such a wonderful couple. The last conversation,I had with him was when I was visiting my mother, at Fort Meyers. So its been several years now,he was insuch good spirits and Erica insisted on having Ellen and me over for supper.I really loved them both, who couldn't.
