Virginia Kronemeyer Obituary

Virginia Vischer Kronemeyer Virginia Kronemeyer 95, left to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 3, 2011. Virginia was born in South Haven, Michigan on January 2, 1916. She graduated from Argubright Business College in Battle Creek, where she met her husband Victor Kronemeyer. She was a long time resident of Battle Creek and a member of the first Presbyterian Church. In 2007 she moved to Hot Springs, SD to be near her son, Stuart, and daughter-in-law, Jeanne. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; brother, Richard Vischer; and grandson, Andrew Kronemeyer. Surviving are son, Stuart Kronemeyer, and daughter-in-law Jeanne Kronemeyer, of Hot Springs, SD; grandchildren, Andrea Canlas and husband Randel, Nathan Kronemeyer, Peter Kronemeyer; and great grandchildren Noah, Gabrielle, and Francesca Canlas. Also surviving are son, James Kronemeyer, and daughter-in-law, Janet Kronemeyer of Cape May, NJ; grandchildren, Jerry Kronemeyer and wife Leslie, Jeff Kronemeyer and wife Sue, Jason Kronemeyer and wife Trish; and great grandchildren, Marley, James, Hadley, Emery, and Jacob Kronemeyer. Virginia will always be remembered as a "special lady" and for her gentle spirit, and welcoming smile. Many people will miss her. No services are planned. Her resting place will be in Heaven and her ashes will be in South Haven, Michigan.

Denny and I have such fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Kronemeyer. We had special times at their house growing up and we were blessed to have them in our lives. Our thoughts are with her family.

Am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. It is a loss to us but a release for her. My mom always used to say, "When I'm gone, don't wish me back. I'll be exactly where I want to be!" And so is she and your mother, too.
