Arthur Michaelson Obituary
Funeral Services for Arthur Gerald "Jerry" Michaelson 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Mountain Home Baptist Church, with Reverend Tommy Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Mountain Home Baptist Church.
He died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Mountain Home. Jerry was born August 23, 1924, in Aurora, IL, the son of Andrea Forgard Michaelson. He married Virginia Swanson on September 6, 1952, at Sandwich, IL. and worked and retired as a Tool Designer for Henry Pratt Co. Jerry was a U.S. Merchant Marines veteran of World War II . Jerry lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1987, moving from Plano, IL and was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by his wife Virginia (Ginny) Michaelson of Mountain Home, 2 sons; Ron (Sue) Michaelson of Washington, IL, Brian (Jessie) Michaelson of Phoenix, AZ; 1 daughter; Trinette (Duane) Warren of Vancouver, WA; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 brothers; Victor, Rev. Louis, Robert and Russell Michaelson.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or Mountain Home Baptist Church.
