Barbara Burde Obituary
She was born June 9, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Genevieve Dernbach Berryman. She married Bradley Burde on February 8, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. Barb worked as an accountant. Barbara lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Chicago, in 1994 and was a supporting member of the Hoevel-Barnett Post 1341 Auxiliary in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. Barbara was the strong anchor of her family. She enjoyed her own company, playing the slots and a good dirty martini.
Barbara is survived by her children, Patti (John) Siebert, Kathy Burde, Tim (Karen the "Z") Burde, Keith (Monica Wiater) Gonia and Karen (Mike) Mandarino; son-in-law Bill Rohde; grandchildren Melodie, Tabitha, Natalie, Tanna, Karre, Nicholas, Stephanie, Michael, Johnny and Mallory; great-grandchildren Jordan, April, Cecelie, Joey, Bella, Scarlett, Elliott, Aria, Liam, Stella, Oliver and Ruby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Brad; daughter Julie; brothers Richard and Brian.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sep. 29, 2023, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating. The family will be available from 10-11 a.m. to greet friends.
Memorials may be made to Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post 1341 Auxiliary.
