David Edwin Latimer, 81

A Memorial Service for David Edwin Latimer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Reverend David

Gadbaw officiating.

David passed away December 18, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born November 25, 1934, in Marietta, Oklahoma, the son of William and Bertha Jones Latimer. David was a U.S. Navy Submariner and Air Force International Guard veteran and has lived in Mountain Home since moving from Plummer, Idaho, in 2003. He married Doris on July 3, 2004, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Twin Lakes Submarine Group, and the American Legion in Plummer, Idaho.

David is survived by his wife, Doris Latimer of Mountain Home, AR; step-son, Mark (Lisa) Snyder of Cary, NC; and two grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Snyder of Cary, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Latimer.

Entombment will be in the Riverside Memorial Park Mausoleum, Spokane, Washington.

Memorials may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Salvation Army, or the Humane Society or North Central Arkansas.

We are forever grateful for David's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
