Ernst-August Wagner

Midway - Ernst August Wagner of Midway, Arkansas, passed away May 27, 2021, in Midway, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born March 11, 1931, in Hamburg, , the son of Ernst and Wilhelmine Wagner. He married Baerbel on December 31, 1955, in Hamburg, Germany and moved to American in 1964. He was of the Baptist faith. Ernst was a wonderful husband, father and friend.

"But just think of stepping on shore-And finding it Heaven!

Of touching a hand-And finding it God's!

Of breathing new air-And finding it celestial!

Of waking up in glory-And finding it home!"

Ernst is survived by his wife, Baerbel Wagner of Midway, AR, son, Frithjof Wagner of Kenosha, WI, daughter-in-law, Pamela Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his ; father, Ernst Wagner, mother, Wilhelmine Schawaller.
