My heart is broken right now as I just learned of Tim making his final journey.
My most sincere condolences to you Joy and your son and entire family!

I worked with Tim when I was hired by Mtn Home and Baxter County Municipal Clerk.
Tim was the kindest, and a dedicated man to his family and serving Mtn. Home and Baxter County!

We never met Joy but I recall several times he came to my office to use the phone on a court day. He would be calling the florist to have flowers sent to you.
I would say what is the occasion today....his reply was always the same "I am thinking of her and that is the way I do it just to let her know I love her!"
That is the best thing I know a husband could ever make his wife's day!
Then he talked about your son and how they would be setting up a Tepee on the Buffalo River! He loved taking yalls son and friends there. He showed his love another way as an outdoors loving person....putting pen to paper! He brought in some of his prints, art of Indians, wolves, bears, eagles, etc.
I was amazed and loved every print he showed...breath taking art!

He heard I was leaving my position and he brought me 3 most wonderful cherished prints I have ever seen.
He was determined for me to take them! I did!
Later, I met a man in Greenbrier and we have now been married 31+ years.
We took all 3 prints and had them matted and framed to hang in our home!
I am so thankful and blessed of God to have worked with such a man as I described him above! He loved you and yalls son and he talked about you both of how blessed he was to have yall!
And God blessed me with the man I married and I now know how that love feels!

He is in Heaven now sitting in my minds eye on the greenest grass in the cool of the day watching the deer, wolves, owls and bear...it would not surprise me if Jesus said " Tim come walk with me and then there before Tim and Jesus was the most magnificent Teepee by the flowing river! " And Jesus would say " Tim I just wanted you to rest in the cool of the day and sleep by the water while you rest in this Teepee!

Joy I have said a lot, but it is all because you had a man that was a rare person! He loved you and yalls son like I had never known and was proud to tell anyone of that!
I pray you feel God's amazing comfort and love all around you! Just walk through your home and pray and as I call it stir with your hands raised up in praise and feel the atmosphere change for you! He isn't that far away and one blessed morning we will be reunited with him and others in Glory! Talk about him often, tell his stories and know you have been loved by one awesome man, because he told me so! I saw his face light up talking about YOU!

As you, I will think about him because a part of him is in our home and heart for the friendship of such an amazing man.

I pray God blesses you both and you and family and yall will all sit around and share the great memories you have and remember what a loving husband, dad, son and friend he was while here with us!!

May God bless you and comfort you Joy abundantly so!

With much love and prayers,
Debbie Sutterfield Garrett
