Alan Warner Obituary

Alan P. Warner, 77, better known as "Al", passed away with his loving wife of 55 years, Carol, at his side on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, after battling a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Robert and wife Pamela; and by his daughter, Mary Bradshaw and husband Kevin. Al also leaves behind two beloved grandsons, Nathan and Ryan. Al earned an Industrial Engineering degree from IIT in Chicago in 1957. Shortly afterward, he married and then served in the US Air Force. Al brought his family with him to the Clear Lake City area in 1976. Al enjoyed operating his local family business, Houston Desktop Graphics, and always had time for a visit or to provide a personal touch in service. Later, he and Carol opened another family business, Shared Memories on DVD, where customer provided movies were converted to high quality HD DVD's, much to the delight of his clientele. Al experienced much satisfaction and pleasure in helping all his clients, and in the many friendships that developed as a result. Al also enjoyed owning, servicing and driving his classic Cadillacs. Al was, and is, deeply loved and missed by his family and those he knew well. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
