Alice Crainer Obituary
Alice Crainer, age 80 of Alvin , Texas passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas. Alice was born November 27, 1933 in Midway, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin since 1989. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone from 1953-1976. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Flora Stevens; sisters, Mary Rogers, Ivy Lee and Barbara Harrell; brother, Paul Stevens Jr.
Alice is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, John Emmett Crainer; son, John Paul Crainer and wife Ann; grandson, John Thomas Crainer; sister-in-law, Bonnie Daniels; caregivers, Alicia, Jennifer, Connie and Kenshara; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services at Scott Funeral Home will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 3, 2014 with Interment in the Confederate Cemetery , Alvin , Texas .
