I am sad to see Bruce pass. He was a close childhood and high school friend and I found myself thinking of him and his family often. I can't think of any parents more dedicated. It is good to read that he "enjoyed a full and happy life." I have such fond memories of hanging out at that wonderful Nassau Bay house. We had such fun running around in our Jon boats, playing pool, or just being teenagers.

I am a graduate of CC class of 1979. Bruce Roberts was my friend. He was my chemistry partner and the only reason I passed the course. There were a few crucible "incidents" and maybe some protocol violations but we laughed our way through it.
I visited Bruce a few times after his injury when he was back in Nassau Bay. Although he was injured, he still shone through as his old self that I admired.
My mother lived across from Nassau Bay on Egret Blvd. My 37 yr old son and my 30 year old son have expressed to me their memories of yelling "hey Bruce" as we passed their home on our boat, as Bruce sat out in the back yard.
My admiration for Mr. and Mrs. Roberts is outstanding. You are both heroes and amazing individuals.
RIP my friend!
