Helen Crowley Lewis passed away on August 27, 2016 at her home in Taylor Lake Village with her family at her side. She was born on January 13, 1923 on a farm in Newcomb Township, Illinois to Daniel and Katherine (Risch) Crowley. In 1957, she married Charles O. Lewis. While living in Illinois, Helen worked for Price Paint Store. In 1964, she and Charles moved to Clear Lake City and she worked for Palais Royal. Helen enjoyed bowling, sewing, watching all sports (especially football and basketball) and had a passion for Jeopardy. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Kuehnel and husband, Eric; her son, John Lewis and wife, Darla; and two grandchildren, Katherine and Hunter Kuehnel. A viewing will start at 10:30am followed by a service at 11:30am on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
