Jacque Dolores (Wheat) Corry, 75, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was born on June 22, 1937 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Earl Wheat and Erlyne (Gaston) Wheat.
Jacque never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome. She had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh. She loved animals, especially cats - large and small. Jacque was an avid reader and video game player - she even helped test new Nintendo games in the 1990s. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing a wide variety of plants. Jacque also loved traveling with her husband Dick. She and Dick were very active in the Montgomery United Methodist Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, H. Richard "Dick" Corry, in 2009 and her grandsons Sean and Bobby Caton in 1990.
Jacque is survived by her sister, Sandra Gilmour and husband Bruce of Houston; nephew Darren Britt and his wife Elaine of Houston; stepdaughters, Barbara Calderone and husband Sam of Pittsburgh, Kathy Caton and her husband Bob and Linda Bradshaw and husband Clay, both of Friendswood; grandchildren Kristina Calderone O'Toole, Samuel Calderone Jr., Paul Calderone, Corry Calderone Thalhofer, Collette Caton, Kyle Caton, Skyler Waychoff and Claburn Bradshaw; great-grandchildren Makenzi O'Toole, Aiden O'Toole, Declan O'Toole, Rosalia Calderone, and Cooper Thalhofer.
A Memorial Service and reception was held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Friendswood United Methodist Church with Reverend Howard Huhn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's International at www.children.org or the charity of your choice

Jacque and I never meet in person but i was a member of her on line ladies group and can tell you she touched each and every one of our lives. she will be missed by everyone.
