Long time Friendswood resident Lorraine "Mimi" Lakner passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014. She was born on December 29, 1922 in Red Wing, Minnesota to her loving parents Victor and Margaret Haller.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Julius and son Wayne. She is survived by her daughter Vicky Jamison, and her sons Jack, Robert, Larry, Jeffery, Terry and Todd, along with numerous grand and great grandkids. Lorraine loved to sit with family and friends on the veranda where she would tell stories, sing songs, and crack jokes. Those visits will be greatly missed by those who had the opportunity to enjoy them. "Baby blue was the color of her eyes, baby blue like the Colorado skies..." We will miss you, Mimi.
