alan, he was my cousin, at one time he was the person i was closest to, my best friend. i havent been able to speak to him in years but i've thought about him, harold and sofia almost everyday for the past 7 years, i'd hope we'd run into eachother again, any time we went out in public i'd imagine that id run into alan, we would recognize eachother and smile, we would catch up and he would tell me he was doing well, he'd tell me about his friends, his hobbies, what has changed, we would get the chance to feel like cousins again, like friends that we used to be.. i wish this really could've happened, i wish i could've told him all the times i thought about him, thought about all of you, all the times i'd look for you all on social media or in the faces of a crowded place, it would've been nice to speak to him again. im sorry to the rest of the family for the loss of alan, im sorry to everyone for how things turned out, and im sorry for alan, i remember him being a very emotional boy but he always had the best smile when he was happy, we had a lot of fun together and i will never forget any of it. i'll always remember how we used to argue over which one of us was older, and how we used to love hot sauce on our popcorn, we were the only ones who really liked it and it was our special thing. i hope the rest of the family is well and taking care of themselves, my most sincere condolences
