Eleanor Loderhose Obituary

Loderhose, 91 FREDERICA - Eleanor S. Loderhose passed away at home and went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 21, 2015. She was 91. Eleanor was born on May 10, 1924 in Milford, daughter of the late Harold B. and Anna (Schmitt) Short. She had a long career in the banking business, lastly employed as bank manager with the First Virginia Bank, from where she retired. Eleanor was a devoted member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in Milford for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harvey Richard in 1980; her second husband, William E. Loderhose in 2011; a sister, Marion S. McIntyre; and a brother, Harold B. Short. Eleanor is survived by several nieces and one nephew; Kyla Schrock, who was like a daughter to her, and her husband Jerry of Greenwood, and several special caregivers. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial will follow the services in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE, 19963.
