Howard Brittingham Obituary

Howard B. Brittingham, age 82, passed away unexpectedly at his Lincoln, DE home on October 12, 2024. He was born in Milford, DE, on January 9, 1942, to the late Russell and Blanche (Short) Brittingham.
A proud veteran, Howard served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. For more than 20 years he found great professional satisfaction as a truck driver for local companies such as Steiner's and Atlantic Concrete. He then finished his career in sales and service positions, much of that time with Burris. He found joy on the golf course.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew Gregory Draper.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Barbara A. Brittingham, his son Eric B. Brittingham (Christine Sears), his brother Harold "Butch" Brittingham (Cindy), and his cherished dog, Abby. He is also survived by his nephew Kenneth Draper (Darlene), and niece Pam Galyean.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963, at 1:00pm, with a time of visitation prior from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment followed at Lincoln Cemetery.
